Teaching 5-6 years old
The Wharton Music Center in New Jersey welcomed my group for a three day workshop that allowed our us to teach important values and skills. Whether working on a dramatic scene, learning a piece of choreography, or making music, these young artists were able to learn about co-operation, insight, and concentration. Bringing together artists from several disciplines, we helped develop and nurture the student’s creative process in nontraditional ways, producing an unforgettable show in the end.

“Incredible! Since leaving Juilliard, I’ve become acutely aware how special each and every Juilliard student is. It is partly about talent…partly. But more than anything, it’s your sense of purpose, sense of being, and sense of the world that sets you apart from everyone. The families that enrolled were treated to something unique, special, and deeply meaningful.”

The Wharton Music Center
  1. Developed and initiated a summer program for students in New Jersey, beyond the training that they receive during the year.
  2. Coached students from the Center on college preparation and admission; by leading a tour through Juilliard, they were able to sit in on classes, experience the life at Juilliard.
  3. Students planed and performed for their parents, discussing the ideas trust, respect, and community.
  4. Developing a relationship whereby we are invited to return and teach in 2010.
